How Our Workplace Celebrates Throughout the Year
My workplace regularly hosts small themed celebrations throughout the year to help us connect, build camaraderie, and bring some joy into the work environment. We recognize all kinds of occasions, including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Nurses Week, Doctors Week, MA Week, Administrative Professionals’ Week, and more.
A Christmas Sip Adventure: Our Office 12 Days of Christmas Gift Idea
Last year, one of the end-of-year events was a “12 Days of Christmas” celebration, where the staff was divided into teams and each team hosted a festive activity on their assigned day. For this celebration, the staff was split into teams, and each team signed up for one of the twelve days. On your assigned day, you and your partner were responsible for hosting something festive for the rest of the staff.
You had the freedom to choose anything you wanted—breakfast, lunch, baked goods, catered food, small treats, or creative gifts. The spirit of the event was simple: be thoughtful, be creative, and stay within your means. There was absolutely no pressure to overspend. Instead, the emphasis was on including everyone and celebrating each day with something warm and meaningful.
Our Theme: A Christmas Sip Adventure
My partner and I wanted to create something simple, cozy, and enjoyable for everyone. We decided to put a creative twist on traditional holiday hot chocolate by choosing a variety pack with fun, non-traditional flavors. That’s how we came up with A Christmas Sip Adventure—the “adventure” being the experience of trying unique flavors you don’t usually see in everyday hot chocolate. Each cup offered something different and unexpected, making the gift feel playful and festive.
