DIY Wedding Gift Idea: Yeti Tumbler Wedding Bouquet
Are you looking for a thoughtful, creative, and totally customizable wedding gift? This Yeti wedding bouquet is a cute idea that any coffee-loving bride will adore.
Inspiration Behind the Gift
One of my coworkers shared that she and her fiancé bonded over coffee. She’s a Starbucks fanatic and loves her morning brew, so when our team planned a small work celebration for her wedding, I wanted to create something that reflected that story — personal, functional, and beautiful.
That’s when the idea of a Yeti wedding bouquet came to life — a gift that’s both sentimental and practical, with a handmade twist.
Materials I Used
Here’s everything I used to make this personalized gift:
- Yeti Rambler 20-oz Travel Mug in Tropical Pink (her favorite color)
- Cricut Permanent Vinyl
- Transfer Tape
- Floral Foam Blocks
- Butterfly Stickers or Decorations
- Floral Pick Card Holders (to attach the butterflies)
- Starbucks Gift Card
- Fresh Flowers (I picked up a bouquet from Publix, but any local store will do!)
- Starbucks Coffee Logo SVG File (see note below)

Step-by-Step: How I Made It
1. Personalize the Tumbler
I started by downloading a Starbucks Coffee Logo SVG bundle from Etsy. The exact file I purchased is no longer available; however, if you search for “Starbucks Coffee Logo SVG” on Etsy, you’ll find several great options to use.
In Cricut Design Space, I edited the logo to include her name for personalization. I also added small, wedding-themed icons, such as a ring. Once I applied the design using permanent vinyl and transfer tape, it turned out perfectly smooth. She’s since said the vinyl has held up great through multiple washes!
2. Build the Bouquet Base
Next, I inserted floral foam blocks into the Yeti tumbler. You’ll likely need to trim and shape the foam to fit your specific cup. It doesn’t need to be perfect—just snug enough to hold your flower stems securely.
Tip: This step can get a little messy! I recommend placing a trash bag or paper to catch the foam pieces and other debris while you trim and arrange.
3. Arrange the Flowers
I trimmed the bouquet and arranged it directly into the tumbler. I chose soft pinks, purples, and whites to complement the Tropical Pink Yeti cup. Still, you can easily match the color scheme to the recipient’s taste or wedding theme.
Note on flower life:
This is a presentation-style arrangement, not one intended to last in the long term. Because I used real flowers without water, they began to wilt slightly by the next day — likely due to trimming and being out of water. I arranged them the night before and gifted them the next day, which worked perfectly for the event.
If you want your arrangement to last longer, you could:
- Use faux flowers for a lasting display, or
- Explore another method of securing the flowers in water if you’re familiar with floral arranging (though I personally did not do this).
The beauty of this design is that, once the flowers fade, the recipient will still have a beautiful, personalized tumbler to enjoy.
4. Add the Butterflies (or Other Decorations)
Once your bouquet looks the way you like it, add your butterfly decorations (or any other embellishments you choose) and tuck a Starbucks gift card into the arrangement to tie the theme together. The butterfly decorations I used came with adhesive backing that lets you attach one side to any surface. To make them easy to place in the bouquet, I used floral pick card holders I had on hand— the kind typically used to hold greeting cards in flower arrangements. I adjusted the card holders by removing any extra “teeth” I didn’t need, leaving just one prong. I then adhered the butterfly to that prong and stuck it into the bouquet wherever I wanted a pop of detail. This made it easy to position them exactly how I liked.
Why This Gift Works
This project combines personalization, functionality, and a touch of luxury — all in one package. My coworker loved it and said it’s now her favorite cup.
You can easily adapt this idea for:

- Birthdays or Anniversaries

- Baby Showers (with pastel florals and “Mom Fuel” SVGs)
The beauty of this gift lies in its flexibility — simply change the color, flowers, or theme, and it instantly becomes something new.
